eTRANSERVICES was founded on July 19th, 2011, by Chris Beckford, a former Marine Corps Officer and the company’s current President & CEO. Chris started the enterprise because he wanted to improve on what this industry has to offer to its clients and employees. He has a passion for improving people’s lives and empowering others to do so as well. With this passion and his drive, Chris created eTRANSERVICES. Out of multiple options, he chose the company name, eTRANSERVICES, to symbolize a business that provides enterprise TRANSformational SERVICES. The company was then incorporated in 2015 and is now headquartered in Stafford, Virginia. 

As a former Marine Corps Officer, Chris finds it important to support veterans and integrates this value into his corporation. In 2017, eTRANSERVICES was certified as a Virginia Values Veterans (V3) business. Since then, the company has continued to regularly receive the Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans (HIRE Vets) Medallion Award. Over the years, the enterprise grew from around 20 employees to now around 50 employees working remotely and on-site from all over the United States and Canada, with almost half being U.S. Veterans. The company continues to grow and prosper as an SBA 8(a) and VA SDVOSB-certified business providing Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Business Services to Federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as the commercial marketplace.

eTRANSERVICES Integrated Product Team (IPT) is franchised for all our projects. This methodology is based on an “expert system” that is cognizant of our clients, rooted in industry best practices and what creates value from the client’s perspective.

 

eTRANSERVICES Strategy and IT Alignment Service leverages the principles of Enterprise Planning, Architectures, and our Quality Management System to determine performance strengths and weaknesses as demanded by our client’s overall Vision and Strategic Objectives. Including benchmarking and comparison with the industry standards to highlight areas of improvement as tasks are analyzed and delivery strategies are formulated. Key business and IT performance indicators are measured and analyzed for any variation from the customer’s requirements. This allows for evaluating possible strategies and corrective actions required to meet the business objectives every time.

 

To ensure the services we deliver remain within the scope and budget while providing the maximum value to a client, we manage the work utilizing the project management approach that is mapped to the team type, project type, and the client’s business objectives and needs.

These methodologies encourage frequent inspection, improvement, teamwork, self-organization, and accountability, which all, in turn, allow for efficient delivery of products and increased satisfaction for our clients. Agile methodology refers to the disciplined process that breaks a project down into several procedures, which involve collaboration and cross-functional teams. Our teams are proficient in utilizing agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps, that allow for rapid delivery of high-quality software and services for clients. eTRANSERVICES teams are also incorporating the use of the traditional Waterfall approach, as applicable, which involves the breakdown of project procedures into sequential phases. With the hybrid use of both Agile and Waterfall methodology, each broken down phase throughout project development is continually revisited throughout the software development lifecycle (SLDC).
